Dunamis - The Power to Chang Life.

I would like to present a new born company which my sister and I start to do to together. (Well, actually it is my sister's vision but I just help her a bit :P

In 2009 my sister had been gotten a revelation that, God called her to a business but it will be more than a business.

In January, we were talking about the revelation once again and we both had a deep desiring that we have to move out from our small apartment with a comfort life as quick as possible. And we must obey God even though we don’t know what support to be next. WALK BY FAITH NOW! It seems like God opened the door for us. Because at the same time, a member in our church offered a house for rent for us, and he didn't know at all that we were looking for a house for rent!

Everything went very quick, we moved to a new house for rent and we took 2 boys and 1 girl stay with us. So that, we can take a good care of them and support them foods, educations etc. as much as we can.

We use this house for rent as a home office and place to stay.

Our house open wide for the youth. We have pray meeting at home every Wednesday and in weekends we try to invite young people to visit us. Sometime just hang out together at home.

We were painting... So fun!

We had decided to have white color at the wall.

About our Company:

The company was established by serving in a local church in Bangkok. By using God’s gifts about art designing, creativity, logos and graphic design, post card, web design and T- shirt design for any event in the church.

For this reason the works of art and related products, are increasingly recognized more and more both in our own local church and extended to the churches in almost every other sector in the country as well as abroad, especially the Scandinavian countries. All of our art works and related products were concerned with a good quality care and taking good care of the small details. That made us trusted and reliable, both inside and outside the country. At the starting point, we had a goal of just serving, helping and supporting domestic Churches and Organizations. But now we have got a power of thought, and expanded our serving to around the world.

In 2010 the word “Dunamis” which appears in a book called “God’s Power to change your life” by Rick Warren, came to our mind as a word that expresses our “mission” Dunamis comes from Greek and means “the Power”. The word “Dunamis” is derived from “Dynamite”. It is a term used to describe the power of God to change lives. We believe that God has provided a powerful dynamite to change ourselves and society, so that we live better. We also believe that if we have the power to do something, then everything is possible!

Our main focusing:

· Serving God and be a partner with churches, ministries and organization both in Thailand and overseas.
· Support Christian Ministries in Thailand.
· Do a business not for getting rich but to increase God’s Kingdom.

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?

How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!" Roman 10: 11-15

At every missions conference hosted by my church, I give God the same message I’ve been repeating since my early 20s: “I’m available, Lord. I’ll go to foreign fields if you say so.” Until He tells me to pack my bags, I’m going to keep on sending others to work among unbelievers in distant and even remote lands.

Paul asked a series of rhetorical questions in Romans 10 that can be summed up like this: How will the world hear about Jesus if you do nothing? God uses Christians to spread the word that His salvation plan is available to all. He put us in families and communities and nations so we will mingle and share what we know. But some believers are called to carry the gospel farther than others. Those who stay behind are to offer prayer and resources for those who travel.

If you’re shaking your head and thinking, Mission work isn’t where my heart is, I have news for you: Every believer is called to missions as either a goer or a sender. That call comes in dramatic ways for some, but for most of us, it is simply a biblical principle to be followed (Matt. 28:19). What’s missing for those who don’t have a “heart” for such work is passion. Christians who share and go and send are often excited about God’s message for unbelievers—and it’s possible for you to become more enthusiastic too.

I challenge you to ask the Lord, “Am I open to going anywhere You send me?” Our roots in a community should be sunk only as deep as God wills. If you aren’t called to go, then choose to be a sender. Infield at Hua Hin 2011

This is one of my FANTASTIC time in this month! Infield at Hua Hin in Thailand with 12 viking students from Hald year 2010-2011.

I was asked to help a teacher at Hald for an infield course. Of course I said YES! And only 2 hours before I left from Bangkok to the south, I got a calling from Kristian Mjoelsnes. He and his fiancée were in Bangkok and wished to meet me.

Well, everything seems like prompt decision. I decided to take both of them coming to Hua Hin together. With all my hope that maybe both of them could help me and they could enjoy on the beach included beautiful sun as well.

Kristian and Marit were alumni at Hald. We went to Hald at the same year 2008-2009.

Almost 1 week that I was with 15 viking people and it was such a great time that we spended together. Talking, speaking ( nice to talk Norwegian again ), hearing each one of their sharing. Enjoy stories and experiencings that they have learned so far. Of course FOODS! Uhmm yammy :P . By the way, there was something which is amazed me. Because there was really few of them have faced culture shock. GOOD for them!

My main task was a counselor, sharing words of the day and arrange the " Blå tur". Which is a kind of a trip without plaining and unseen before( it's from my own translation ). However our trip was soooo amazing! We went out around 1 hour from Hua Hin which is not a lot of tourists. Long beach - quite good beach - nice weather. A kind of good feeling to see the vikings enjoy sunbathe, swimming and did some sport on the beach.

While the tropical vikings were enjoy sunshine, a small Thai lady has to skip from the sunshine because she doesn't wanna have tan skin Ufff! :P I love to be WHITE AND WISE. Well, I was enjoying Thai massage instead. Oh! It was sooooooo goooooodddd anyway! :D

I have been so bless through this trip. And thankful for God that He leaded me get to know all of them. I do learn from them a lot as well. Through their speaking and sharing which is encourage me so much.

I always say to the people that God has called me to be a missionary and work with the youth in Europe. One day I had a talk with a student and we ended up by prayer. While I was praying for that student I got revelation said; Prem! you are doing that mission which God has called you to do. Even though you are not yet in Europe but you still serving the youth from Europe and helping them in your country!

While I am waiting for the Visa to come back to the Land of Viking, so I got a contact from the leaders who organize the Planetshakers live in Bangkok concert, they asked me to pray for the opening of this concert. The topic of pray is shaking the heart of young people in Thailand. It is such the HUGE blessing and GREAT opportunity for me to join this ministry. I believe, if God don't give me this opportunity I can't stand on this position.

We hope around 5,000 people will join the concert.

When the nation is under the control of the enemy and separation is all over the country, it is time to wake up and stand up for what is right. God is shaking this nation in every parts of the society. Are you ready to move as He move? Will you be a part of this generation to do whatever it take to shake this nation for His glory?

Last Week I went to a seminar about the Spiritual warfare at a big church in the center of Bangkok. The title of the seminar was Mobilizing God's Triumphant Reserve. Actually I didn't expect that much that I will learn something new about the Spiritual warfare but I was wrong... God always surprise you and I because His words always new, fresh and powerful. Even though I have heard and learned from those scriptures many times but the Holy Spirit helped me to get new perspectives and new thoughts.

The Christian life involves a conflict against demonic forces! " For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians. 6:12

When we came to Jesus, we not only gained a SAVIOR, we gained an ENEMY! When we were born again, we were born on a BATTLEFIELD. That's why we have some of the problems we have!

God has called us to make a difference! He calls us to stand against the enemy, tear down his works and set his captives FREE! God wants us to break off all fear and all passivity! to put on our armor ( Ephesians 6:10-14 ) and learn to STAND!

One of the great part of this seminar was the worship. It was incredible moving and fantastic with dancing, shouting and the presence of God was so strongly!

I was very happy to see every faces smiling, enjoying, shouting with glad and happiness while they worshiped the Lord. One of the pastor from USA. said " I have a bad news and a good news to you guys" The bad news: We are in a battle! But the GOOD news: We will WIN! That made us more shouting ( sounds like we were really in the battle! )

While the whole meeting was singing shouting and worship God. Suddenly my eyes cached at a guy who seems the great army of God. Well, it was such a great picture that this young man humbled himself and knelled before God. Oh! You have to see how powerful when he cried out for God while he was kneeling.

The weapons of God is not only the words of God but also include humbling ourselves, repenting and learning to obey Him. Like this young man has done.

* Prayer and fasting

* Speaking in tongues ( If God gives you this gift)

* Prophetic Acts ( Something that God calls you to do even though it does not make sense like x 7 Jericho )

* Forgiveness

* Worship ( is an act of WAR!)

All of those are our WEAPONS. They are many different weapons and only God can tell us which will bring breakthrough! or the fight with our enemy.

KEY: Don't fall into METHODS!... hear GOD! Let God show you which weapons to use.

As that pastor said: Bad news: We are in a Battle but the GOOD news: We will WIN!

" Thanks be to God, who always lead us in the triumph!" 2 Cor. 2:14

from another what they told about communist countries without knowing the truth"

said a Thai - Myanmar guy who works with FTS.( Free to serve) project in Thailand, Laos, Burma or Myanmar and also in China .He said that to me, when I have asked him "Is Burma dangerous country ?"

Well, I didn't believe him for 100%, so I must face that by myself.

But when I was there for over a week, I realized that he was true. The people in Laos, Burma and China are very open to listen gospel. Although those countries are quite closed but unbelievable the hearts of people there don't close like their countries. I didn't say every one is open but I mean many of them are really hungry for HOPE, LOVE, FAITH from God.

When we see from this map, we will find on the top of Thailand. There are borders of 3 countries Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, so we call that Golden triangle. And up to the north which is not far from the Golden triangle is China. So, God has leaded me to get to know a young guy or actually he is the same age like me 29 years old. He and his family ( parent, brother and sister ) have spent their life to serve God in those 4 countries ( Thai, Laos, Burma and China) by Gospel and planting churches, training disciples, working with children and young people and also establishing children's hostel.

Seems God has prepared his family for long long time. One of preparing is languages. His family can speak Thai, Burmese, Ahkah, Chinese and very good in English. When I was there I felt like I am in the international school. He ( Sorry, I couldn't tell his name ) has started disciple school in the North of Thailand as well. There are 7 people from 3 countries. Not all of them can speak Thai, so when we taught them, we have to translate. It was really COOL!

Testimony:

He told me; one day he went to gospel in a small village in Burma which is around 60 people there and then almost every one in the village received Christ and a few day later the gospel was spread to another 5 villages. So, a lot of people came to receive Christ. But it was really sad because they have no pastor or some one who can take care those souls.

Christianity in those countries are growing a lot but no one train them to be disciples and no one feed them the Spiritual foods. They just received Christ but don't know how to be real Christian.That's why, he took 2 - 3 people from those countries to be together in his house and train them for 1 and half years and send them out to gospel and making other people to be the real disciples.

I would like to confess, the first time when I saw his disciple school. I didn't like it at all. No system, no plan, no money, not enough teacher or equipment for students, very bad food etc. Then I came to my room, prayed and asked God what is this? God, are you training your disciples like this?

Immediately, God remind me about Jesus and His disciples. Jesus also has no projector, note book, pens,money, system, plans. Some time they did have any thing to eat. I felt like God asked me back " Those disciples have also no nothing but how could they make to whole world knowing Me ? " ... Well, I asked for forgiveness from God and got some thought that it is not about things out side of them, but its all about the thing inside of them and God choses them, anointing them and God's power is within them, so it is more than enough for going out and make Him known.

It sounds really crazy although they have no any thing but they can bring good new in people in those communist counties.

It is just AMAZING!

MAN!! you have to see, how much they love God. Only one old guitar to worship God but the presence of God was so strongly. Miracles, hope, love, faith overflowed upon them! Oh I couldn't explain how fantastic it was.

Well, after I repented my heart. I got a chance to teach those disciples and in the end of my teaching, I said to them that. " If God can use 12 disciples changed the whole world, God will use all of them to do the greatest thing like that too! "

I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do - yes, they will do even greater things ...

John 14: 12

I am very impressive when I saw many different ministries That God works through him and his family. Many souls were saved, many hearts were healed...

It is just AWESOME to get to know those people like them who really love God so much!

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,

because the Lord has anointed me

to preach good news to the poor.

God has always good connection for His people. I get to know a Thai- Burman missionary by accident ( or actually was not accident, it might be God's plan ) He is working as"Tent maker" . Meaning he does businesses and use all money to plant churches and making disciples in the north of Thailand, Burma, South of China and Laos.

This Sunday after church service of my church in Bangkok, I will take a flight direct to Chiangrai ( the north of Thailand ) and Burma next. I asked that guy that I would like to help him training disciples in Burma and we are going to train them how to gospel as well.

I know that this country is really dangerous to talk about Christ but for me I have nothing to fear. Because I fear God more than those thing.

And after 2 weeks of this exciting mission, I am going to China :D

I won't say NO THANKS! if you guys would like to pray for me and also for the people in those countries !

To know God and to make Him known of all nations

Eirik and Prem's office at Hald

I am siting and writing this post in the office or actually I called this office that " our corner". So Eirik Austeng and I were talking, praying for our last week at Hald today. Eirik is my friend, my best brother, my fantastic teammate that I could never and ever forget him. We used this small corner to pray, share, talk and encourage each other many many times.

Feeling in between, it is not that so said but it is also not so happy to say bye to friends in this school and friends this country.

It is funny for me who has been in many different countries and have had faced many farewells in my life and most of my times were quite easy to say bye. But this time is a bit special which I am finding out why I feel like this...

Anyway, I don't find the answer yet. But I found a story of Abraham Lincoln :

The day before his 52nd birthday, Abraham Lincoln left Springfield, Illinois, to become President of the United States. With the threat of civil war looming, he said goodbye to the friends and neighbors who had come to see him off. “I now leave,” he told them, “not knowing when, or whether ever, I may return, with a task before me greater than that which rested upon Washington. Without the assistance of the Divine Being who ever attended him, I cannot succeed. With that assistance I cannot fail. Trusting in Him who can go with me, and remain with you, and be everywhere for good, let us confidently hope that all will yet be well. To His care commending you, as I hope in your prayers you will commend me, I bid you an affectionate farewell.”

Only one thing that I know for now is I will see many of friends once again and again and again and at least we will meet each other again in the Kingdom of God. See ya!!

Evangelist - Discipline

The great command that Jesus gave to every disciples was " Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit "

Matt. 28:10-11

From this command I divided into 2 commandments.

1. Go means Evangelist- witness - sharing -gospel - talking about Christ etc.

2. Make disciples means training - learning and growing.

Each one of us got has different gifts. I don't know what kinds of Spiritual gifts that God gave you or called you to do. But for me... God called me to make disciples.

For long time ago I thought to gospel or evangelist was the hard task. And I was really thankful that God didn't put evangelist or gospel into my heart but He did put "make disciples" into my heart instead. ( of course every Christians suppose to share about Christ ...but for me "make disciples is like a special calling" )

I got to know some of my friends which God called them to gospel. It is really fantastic to see their heart burning for Christ and want to go out and talk or share about the Good new all the times. Of course it is not easy for them, many times some of them was struggled when God asked them to do some thing that they never did before. For example shouting about Christ on the streets, to proclaim God's grace in the library, shared God's love in the park, in train or even on the bus and so on.

I realized that to train disciples is also not easy. Because we have to take care 2 souls... our own soul and souls of the other disciples.

A pastor name William Carrol said " Yeah!! It is too hard for the flesh and our own strength but nothing is too hard for the Lord " Gen.18:14

I have no exact conclusion for this article : But just so you know that whatever God called you to do, He never leave you to do that alone, especially by your own strength.

Prem fra Thailand

Ole Martin Storemyr 17.01.10

Premjai Phantuya, populært kalt Prem, kommer fra Thailand og er dette studieår ettåring ved Hald Internasjonale skole. For tiden arbeider hun på Normisjons bedehus i Mandal.

Premjai har studert kunst i Tyskland og jobber som maler hjemme i Thailand. Hun er også meget aktiv i ungdomsarbeidet i den lokale kirken der. Forrige studieår var hun student ved Hald Internasjonale Senter i Mandal. Dette studieår er hun ettåring ved Hald.

Når studentene er på skolen, har Prem mye ansvar for utstyr og oppfølging av utstyr som sstudentene får utdelt. Hun leder også Praise & Prayer hver mandag, samt rollen som løpejente for resten av lærerne.

Prem jobber ut mars i Normisjon Mandal. Når studentene på Hald kommer tilbake fra praksis, skal hun tilbake til Hald.

Premjai Phantuya – Prem - fra Thailand som for tiden har praksis i Mandal Normisjon forteller at hun liker godt den lutherske læren, men ønsker å leve som kristen på en pinsevenn-måte.

Prem er 28 år. Hun rører i grytene. Jeg spør om hun pleier å lage mat hjemme i Thailand. Nei, sier hun.
- Er det din mor som lager mat, da?
- Nei, heller ikke moren; de kjøper mat ute, det koster bare 5 kroner, mens å lage et måltid selv vil kanskje komme på 100 kroner. Dessuten spiser vi så lite.
Jeg kikker på Prem. Jo da, hun er ikke så høy og stor, akkurat, men jeg ser at hun har ECCO-støvletter. Det er ganske dyrt. Prem smiler og kan fortelle at søsteren er freelance-designer for ECCO på Thailand, og sannelig designer hun også for Walt Disney. Det må ligge til familien, for Prem er utdannet innen modern art (morderne kunst) og maler bilder. Hun gikk på skole i Tyskland hvor hun holdt på en master degree, men opplevde at Gud kalte henne til å jobbe med ungdom.

Hald
Det ble Hald, ved Mandal.
- Hvorfor Hald?
- Jeg kjente til Hald fra før, jeg besøkte en kristen venninne der mens jeg bodde i Tyskland.
Allerede gjennom misjonen i Thailand fikk jeg høre om Hald. Nå er jeg glad for disse månedene på bedehuset i Mandal mens jeg har praksis.
Hun kutter løk og gulrøtter, og heller oystersaus i gryta. Vi skal spise sammen, men har litt dårlig tid, for hun skal rekke et møte i Hægebostad sammen med Oddvar Søvik. Hun vil gjerne høre mer om nådegavene.

Kristen som 15-åring
- Jeg ble kristen og døpt samtidig med moren min, da var jeg 15 år. Litt senere ble min søster og bestemor kristen, og til slutt min far. Han døde for to år siden. Vi ble kristne i en luthersk sammenheng, og jeg liker godt den lutherske læren. Vi gikk i en baptistmenighet, men jeg må si at jeg føler nok at jeg ønsker å leve som kristen på en pinsevenn-måte!
Hun smiler, et godt og varmt smil, og forteller åpent at hun opplever å ha nådegave både til veiledning, helbredelse, profetisk tale. Hun er spent på hva Gud vil bruke henne til fremover. Prem ønsker å forkynne Guds ord, slik det står i Bibelen, og liker ikke at mye som læres i kirken i dag ikke er i tråd med Skriften.
- De unge må få ekte og sann forkynnelse!

Folk hilser ikke
Det var ikke noe sjokk å komme til Norge.
- Men jeg lurer av og til på hvorfor folk ikke hilser på meg? De bare kikker, og jeg tenker at de kanskje ikke ønsker bli kjent med meg?
Hun synes ikke det er så ille med snø og kulde, men gleder seg til varmere tider. Hun kommenterer at folk i Norge snakker om været når de møtes. I Thailand er det slik at siden de er ganske opptatt av vekten og størrelsen, spør de gjerne om hva de har spist siden sist, om vedkommende kanskje har lagt på seg litt – jeg blir helt forskrekket og ler!
- Stemmer dette?
- Ja, vi tenker mye på vekt, særlig min generasjon, vi vil gjerne være lette og slanke.
Hm, da var det sannelig godt at vi hadde masse grønnsaker i denne deilige retten som vi skal spise nå, før de to kollegene Prem og Søvik kjører vestover.

After I got a contact from MNS. U in stavanger that I might help them to translate a book named " En helt overkommelig disippel" by Knut Tveitereid. From Norwegians into Thai. At that time I wasn't sure because my Norwegians was and is not good at all..... However I waited for God's opinion what God think about. I knew myself that I cannot but I believe with all my heart that with God all thing are possible!!!

I prayed a lot and sought Him. Finally I got the answer from Him and also the wonderful encouraging word from John Fredrik Askjer a little brother at Hald ( our school), so I said YES!!! I will do !!!

Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. It was by their faith that people of ancient times won God's approval. And it is by my faith that this book will win by God's approval too!!!

The deadline for me is coming soon. In the end of February I have to finish to translate this book. Jesus and I by the helping of the Holy Spirit still working hard for that ( or actually Jesus is working hard on me :P Every thing that I am doing, I would love to give all glory to God alone.

Because I am a lone who know my self better how little I am, how weak I am and how nonsense I am. In the other hand God is a lone who know me better how much glorify I will give to Him, how much I love Him and how much I have faith and trust in Him.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

I am the one who love to tweet on twitter with some reasons as followings:

I love to read some random ideas of Pastors, Peace makers and Churches.
I just want to know what other people that I never know them thinking about.
There are a lot of good words which encourage me a lot

Today I was sitting on the computer almost all day ( I don't like to do it that much but I don't know why I didn't do some thing else) By the way, I saw a tweet of my favorite young Pastor named Matt Chandler http://twitter.com/MattChandler74 and then a random thinking just came up to my mind..

I knew him via a friend of my Eirik Larsen, he recommended me to listen his preachings.Below is the website...After that I just followed to listen to him always. In each week I needed to know how God used this Pastor to encourage us.

Since I am in Norway over 1 year and since God gave me the wisdom to understand Norwegian. I didn't hear that much a about strong and hard preaching in Norway. Perhaps there are some but don't know where.

Thanks God, I knew my self I am not a kind of spiritual milk and I can receive real food or solid food for my soul. Actually I am really hungry for solid food as well. Many times I would like to give some solid food to other young people by speaking, encouraging but it seems difficult,because I have to be care full. Their spirituals might not grow enough to receive the hard words.

The ideas came: with the example of 2 Pastors:

From a big church in Kr.Sand ( there are many many youth there! )
From Matt Chandler

For example,the topic was about the youth just live together without getting married! So I heard this preaching for long time ago from the first Pastor in Kristian sand. He preached to the youth in his church that " I don't care what the other people think about you or don't except you because of you don't get marry. Anyway this church accept you.... and welcome you always !! we love you and accept you no matter what how you are... God love you anyway and so and so.....( with many beautiful words ) But in the end he closed up with " but it will be much more better for you if you get marry and I believe that God will bless you more than you don't "

His preaching was absolutely true but really soft, mind and be care full.

Almost the same topic. Matt said " Com'on your wife is not your sex toy! or not your slave! she has a soul and she is your soul... you have to respect her!

Matt was also absolutely true but really hard rock, strong and direct!

So both of them are right! What does it mean ?

I think, I knew the reason why the first pastor has to preach soft like that for the youth in his church. Maybe because he knew the positions of them how the level of their spiritual are. They might not ready to eat the solid food.

But the question is how long that this pastor has to give the milk for those youths, if he give only milk for them how strong of their spiritual.

PS. until now he still give milk to the youth in his church.

Think! What will be happened if the first pastor said like this to those youth : You !! you are lier !! you said you are Christian, you belong to Christ! but you just hiding you sin in front of God's eyes. You fool !! why you still love to go to club, drinking, smoking and free sex. You just kidding with God all the time. You idiot!! shouldn't be even here!! Because you are so sinful!! You think on body no it, you just think that is my life I can do what I want. You think,Jesus gave the salvation and that's it!! You!! Sinner how long that you will be like this!! You know what !!?even you sinful but God still has mercy for you ,so he still waiting for you to REPENT !!! Com'on let's throw those sin things and start to come back to him.

Uhmm... what will be happened ?

Oh!! the Pastor is not polite... So stupid.... I don't need to come to this church any more
Oh!!! yah he is alright I am sin, I am lier, I need God's grace and I would like to repent and turn back to God!!

In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

The last question is : do you want to drink milk or eat solid food for your soul ?

Normally supposed to be a short speech from the Bible but that morning Hanne showed us a short film which is soooooooo touching in my heart...I cried a bit because God spoke some thing to my heart through this short film :

I think I have to share this funny story at less for me my self.

Today is was quite a good day and quite long long day to work. I started at 10.00 am. til 9.00pm. On every Wednesday we will have " Bønnetimen" or pray time at my office. I waited waited and waited but nobody came until at 8.00 pm. An old man ( around 75 years old) with a big guitar bag and with black color came to my office, so I never seen him in this Bede huset before. Javel!!! I started to greet him. I guess, he was a bit disappointed to see me alone and more than that I look really ASIA ASIAAAA woman !!

He told me that he is a prayer man, walk around from the place to place which has prayer group but normally he went to Filadelfia in Mandal. ( I love Filadelfia ....) I thought WOW !!! God !! Thank you so much that you sent some one just has the same heart like me and same style to worship you.

I was not the leader for prayer but it supposed to be other dame but she didn't come. I said to him that " Ok! let's we do like this, we just let's the Holy Spirit work out and lead us what He need us to pray for. Because I have no idea for now what we suppose to pray" He answer me " it seems ok but I would like to start by singing first and then we pray!" ( I love his style ) actually I love to play guitar when I pray too, but I am not so good to sing in Norwegian!!" I told him

Oh! PS. we have spoken in Norwegian.

" just do whatever the Holy Spirit lead us!!" so,we agree!!

The worship time from the 2 generations start to open.!!! Gringgg!!!! ......He started to play guitar and sang and I started to focus on God but his song......

was like traditional Norwegian melody and the way that he sang,it really really really made me laughing. By the way I said to me self " No Prem you have to control your self!!! stop laughing Focus on God ....Focus on God Prem!!!" but the more that I try to stop to laugh and control my self the more made me laughing at him.

I have to open my eyes and look at him a bit. But he looked really in love in God and suddenly he just shout! out to praise the Lord ( I love his style anyway) I was a bit startled and tried to focus on God once again but it didn't work neither.

Then he start to pray with more power and fire!! I felt my office was really warm ( I still love his style) but it made me more laughing.

Normally I am just like him when I pray but I never expect that I will see such the person like him in this old age and powerful to pray before.

So, I just said AMEN!!!! HALLELUJAH !!! all the time =) ( I love his style^^)

=) Believe or not ...we use about 1 hour to pray for every thing in Mandal but he is the main person who prayed a lot ^^!

If God will angry me about this, I accept and must apologize the old hard rock man for my disturbance!!

By the way in the end we have a good chatting together about our faith !!! ;)

It's encouraging to note that Paul's familiar words "We walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Cor. 5:7) occur in his discussion about being "absent from the body and . . . present with the Lord" (v.8). He used a powerful metaphor, calling our body an earthly house that's being destroyed, yet he said we have a heavenly building made by God. He spoke of groaning in our earthly frailty and longing for our heavenly home. He concluded that no matter what circumstances we face, we should make it our goal to please the Lord (v.9).

Our walk of faith can be challenging and sometimes scary. But because God is powerful and present, we can step out in confidence today. — David C. McCasland

Julemessa i Mandal!!

I really start to work at Normisjon in Mandal. There are many activities that I have to join and to work with but my main working is working with the youth as the Ungdom Abeider

( Youth worker )

We have also youth meeting which is called 13-19. It mean the youth group between 13- 19 years old ( I am an excuse hehe..) By the way this meeting will attend on every Tuesday evening. That is really amazed for me because I never know before that there are really many youths in Mandal. There are around 60 - 100 which came to the youths meeting in each week.

Last week, we have a camp or we called Høsttur 2009. Nor mission in Mandal has own cottage or the Norwegians call " hytte" We were there together around 40 guys .... But I have been there only 2 days. Because of working on Friday.

So I miss the hiking trip!!! It was a bit sad for me.

Anyway it was so awesome!!! " Det var knall gøy!!" Especially in the evening, those youths organized entertainments and I have joined them as well (Actually I did not need it neither but a boy at the camp putted my name in it ) And the thing I have to to do is the " Girls contest 2009", so we have to flight many different things but one of contest which was so weird for me is drinking these!!!

Fresh milk + Raw egg!!! = Drinking!!!!

It was so weird and so terrible !!!! but anyway I was the WINNER!!!! Hurray y!!! After that I felt vomit all night :P

I slept not so well because it was quite cold and a bit noisy.... But I understood when many youth were together , they always have lots funs, talks, plays and so on .....it was almost at 3 Am. that they went to bed... Hallelujah!!!

Yes!! not only funny time that we have but also the great time with God. A boy in the camp, his name is Johaness. He has a speech and shared us about The Vine and the Branches It was very nice speech from him. Actually he is my first friend at 13 - 19 youth group :)

I can say that I am very much glad to work with them here and feel very lucky to work at Bede Huset in Mandal.... Thanks God so much that He lead me to be here.

As I sat in the dentist’s chair, I braced myself for the drilling that would begin my root canal. I was ready for the worst, and my body language and facial expression exposed my sense of dread. The dentist looked at me and smiled, saying, “It’s okay, Bill. Try to relax.”

That isn’t easy to do. It is actually very difficult to try (requiring effort and exertion) to relax (requiring an absence of effort and exertion). Try and relax just don’t seem to fit together—not only in the dentist’s chair, but in the spiritual realm as well.

Far too often I don’t limit my efforts of resistance to visits at the dentist’s office. In my relationship with Christ, I find myself not pressing for God’s purposes but for my own interests. In those moments, the hardest thing for me to do is “try to relax” and genuinely trust God for the outcome of life’s trials.

In Psalm 46:10, we read, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” In the moments when my heart is anxious, this verse reminds me to “be still, and know.” Now, if I can only put that into practice and rest confidently in His care, I’ll be at peace. — Bill Crowder

Lord, we know that true rest can be found only in You. Help us to end our striving and to trust that You will provide. In Your loving arms we find rest. Amen.

La meg få se ditt ansikt

Let's me look at your face! I try to translate from Norwegian into English " La meg få se ditt ansikt" . It is a national women conference in Norway which is in this year was arranged at Sørlandsalen. There were over 2,000 women in this conference and it was beyond awesome. I have been in this women conference last year and it was just amazing. I really thanks God that He gave me opportunity to be in Norway one year more, so I could be in this conference once again.

I got too know many women of God through this conference. Even our age is so different but I think, their heart just like teenage always :) Last year though this conference I got to know Lisbeth Solsvik Hjortland

, she is just amazing woman for me. God used her to pray for me and I got the great experience " felt down in God' s presence in many hours" It was just fantastic to have such a great experience. Anyway I met her once again in this year ( If you read my Blog Lisbeth I would like to say that YOU ARE A PERSON WHO IS IN MY REFLECTION STORY FOREVER.

And other woman which is like my mother and my best friend and etc. Her name is Grete Haaland. Yes I knew Lisbeth and many other women of Lord through Grete. I wonder how she got to know many people like this.... Even now I am working at Normisjon in Mandal, many women there still know who Grete is.. she might be an universal woman, I guess.

By the way, Heidi Baker and Rackel Hickson were preacher for this conference, so I got lots encouragements to keep to on in the rich and fertile land. The best part of conference was the tunnel fire!!! I was really looking forward!!! Then when the time came, staffs over 100 persons were standing 2 lines which was like a tunnel and they were ready to pray for those who walk through tunnel.

I start to drunk by the Holy Spirit before went to the tunnel fire, then went I started to walk ahead, I just drunk drunk and drunk by the Holy Spirit. I could not even walk because the presence of God was so strong and the glory of God was so strong upon on this gathering !!! Many women cried, felt down, drunk etc. by the Holy Spirit.

I have read abook of Heidi Baker for long time ago, it was just amazing story! she got a calling to be a missionary when she was teenage, then every seems impossible for her, in the end God show her ,, With God all things are possible,, God use her to make lot of miracle under Jesus name around the world. I felt really lucky to see her here in Kr.Sand!!!

I realized that I am a reading person. I could read 4 or 5 books in the same time ( a little bit from each ) and its not just surface but in the deeply understanding. There are 4 books that I am reading now

1. Bible ( still keeping my Goal!! )

2. The root of rejection by Joyce Meyer

3. A Leader in a Making also by Joyce Meyer

4. Surprised by the Power of the Spirit by Dr. Jack Dear

The interested things that I found is; all of those books written about the HEART ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I think God would like to teach me something about this, the more when I was focusing what God need to tell me, the more I started to observe that He putted this word in my heart for long long time and especially in this year.

1. I have speeched about " My son, give me your heart " from Proverbs 23:26

2. My church in Thailand used the same scripture for the church' s motto

3. Came back to Norway and went with the Bede Huset's camp named " Love"

4. I got a vision with the Heart and the scripture " I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 11: 19

5. I went to a prayer group and the leader of that group used the same scripture from Ezekiel!!!

Thinking with the Head but Faith with the Heart!!!!

I knew that is the year to serve Him and walking with Him and I knew that He don't need me to serve and walking with Him without heart.....

I got a thin book from my friend which called " BIBEL- bLogGG" it's like a guide book for reading a Bible within 1 year. I set my goal on it. I have heard from many Pastor that ...

Normal Christians suppose to read the whole Bible x 1 time in a year

Active Christians x 2 time in a year

Pastors or the server of the Lord x 3 time in a year

I think I am normal Christian but quite active and I work as a server of the Lord, so how many time that I suppose to read the whole Bible ? ....... maybe as much as I can but suppose to more than 1 time...

So me little Goal is from 1st October 2009 - 31 December 2009 .... I am going to be finish to reading the whole Bible!!!!

How nice is coming back to K. town

Oh! That is really wonderful time to come back to K. town especially yesterday was awesome day for me... It was absolutely nice weather and lovely temperature, so I went to the vågsbygd Kirke with my host dad and got many friendly greeting from the member at the church, pastor, ex workers, ex leader and many friends. I felt WOW Prem!!! you are very popular here!!! He he :) After finish God service I just left my host dad ( too bad girl) and went with my best friends. It seems really long time that we never seen them. We have a nice dinner together and a lots of sharing from me and from them...When we were together we love to discuses about the Bible and about faiths or update our experienced stories that God made through our life. Normally all of us will share our stories but this time I felt I spoke too too much !!!! Perhaps it was because I have had many stories to share them, anyway they were very nice listener :D

When the story of my first time to drive a car at Hald was shared, so they got an idea that they would like to teach me how to drive the car.... It was so EXCITED!!! We drove the car from home to a place called Happy prise which is a lot of space that I could practice to drive the car ...Ha ha ha many funny things happened during I was driving....anyway it was Knall bra!!

Then in the evening I have to say bye for short time to my friends because I have to pick 2 girls from Laos up and go to Salem church together.

Once again that I felt wonderful time to come back.So met many friends here and got a fantastic worship songs, preaching, cafe with my friends .... If I could stop the time I would like to do that but in fact I couldn't. Even I didn't need to leave from there at all but we have to.....

My best friend Eirik Larsen drove us back home. It was really nice time to talk with him because he is the once that I could shared him almost every things. Even he is only 22 years old but his soul and his thinking is not 22 at all. We shared many stories about God's miracles that what God worked through our life. Really thanks God to have a such great friend like him .. Oh! We called him " Kristiansand Prater!! ( in Norwegian) "

We called him like that because he is the one who love to talk about Christ and encourage people around him by speaking although his speech was quite long. ( friends of us said but I didn't agree) Because in fact he would like to help people around him grow up Christ that is why he love to talk ;) and that's why we called him " Kirstiansand Prater" ( hope he won't read my blogger, maybe he will get angry :)

Show time Part 2

Time is going very quickly...Almost 2 months I came back to Norway now but I felt, it was just for short time to be in Norway.

This is the last week that all of us will be together and then this Friday all of students will spread over almost all the world to serve the Lord. Believe that they are really excited so much =D ... Of course is not only those students who were excited, actually I have such feeling too.

Excited to work with the youth in Mandal.

Excited to see God's promises.

Excited to see new thing, new experience, new friends, new worker, new host family etc.

Excited to see the book named “En helt overkommelig disippel” is transted into Thai.

Oh ! one thing that I have learn so far is " Positve taker og god holdning!!!!" Through those words will help me a lot to keep go on in the promised Land

Jesus huset menighetsweekend

In the end of March I went to a Jesus huset church camp which that camp was not from Ljosland. I got to know this church through my leader and was really surprise because a friend of my Inga Mai, she is a member of this church too. ( I didn't know that before )

We were all together about 52 persons. We were like 3 in 1, it mean 1. Adult people 2. Young people or teenage ( like me ) (^.^) hi hi ! and 3. Kids. but we are the one in Christ. Most of the members in this church are youth people and those of them are students at Kristiandsand University. They are quite active youth and I love this church very much very I just felt like my own church in Thailand. I could worship the Lord as who I am.

In the next day we went to ski together !

Inga Mai and I prepared to go ski.

We devided in 3 groups, some of them went to play snow board, slalom and cross country which I was in the group as well. I was really impress myself when I could slide to down hill without falling !! It was very fun. We went out to go ski about 4 or 5 hour and then we went back to our camp.

I didn't go with this team because this team for the professional people !!!

After dinner we have worship concert and games. It was wonderful night to worship the Lord among God's family. The preaching; the pastor told about 3 things that we shouldn't forget. There are God's love, gathering with God's family, and relax by trustfulness in Him. Thank you Lord that you guided me to got to know many nice people in this country. I believe that I met them because of You, I got to know them because of You, I have blessing through those people becaues of You. You have helped me always to connect with other people in this world. I love to let You be the Leader and I be the follower for all my life !! Amen Amen Amen!!!!

Who is the greatest ?

In January we have a party for the volunteer in our church. It was quite big thanking party; there were over 100 people in that party. The idea of this party was about the serving, so that I have learned so far and was very struggle me.

I was really impressed when I saw the whole staff at the church serviced over 100. They serve the volunteer from the beginning of the party for example; serving the food, drinking, cafe and tee until the end of program.

They have also some interments for those volunteer. Actually I never saw pastors wash the dish or serving people like this before. I spoke with my teammate that it is really the heart of the servant of God. When I come back to Thailand I will bring this obedience with. In the Bible Jesus washed the feed of his disciple, it was really touching me. I really love the greater servant of Lord Serve the little people. Because they look like a little Jesus.

An argument broken out among the disciples as to which one of them was the greatest, Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he took a child, stood him by his side, and said to them, " Whoever welcomes this child in my name, welcomes me; and whoever welcames me, alos welcome the one who sent me. For the one who is lest among you all is the greatest."

What I am going to do in this new year ?

i Love the Lord with all your heart.

i Serve the Lord with all your soul.
i Help other with all your strength.

Each year, one of my other goals is to read the entire Bible. While listing it among my New Year’s resolutions, I noticed a bookmark on my desk. On one side was a brief appeal for people to take in foster children. On the other side were these words referring to that appeal: “Don’t read it. Live it. Real children. Real stories. Real life.” The people who produced the bookmark knew how easily we absorb information without acting on it. They wanted people to respond.

The Bible gives us all we needTo live our lives for God each day;But it won’t help if we don’t readThen follow what its pages say. —Sper

The value of the Bible consists not only in knowing it but obeying it.

Sunday, 21 September 2008 was the first day to work at the Hver dag school. I can’t imagine how it looked like. Before I came here I knew only one thing that I had to work with the Kids, but not who those kids are, where they was from, how they are. So there are quite many questions to come to my head. However the real thing that I know is the kids are very different the kids in my country.

Was I fearful?

No, I was not! But I was very exiting. Anyway the Show must go on.

Yes ! I can !!!!

I was quite lucky because I have been in church camps first, before I started to work at the people in this Vågsbygds church. So it was very good at that camps, I got to know my host family, my contact person, pastor and a lot of people from Vågsbygds church in the same time. I though, on the church services we didn’t have too much time to got to know each other. It was only 1 or 2 hours for each God service. It was not enough. However it was very nice for me that I started to knew a lot people at the church via this camp. At first day in the camp was very excited for me and also made me afraid too. So there were many questions came to my mind for example, how I should begin to talk with them, who is the one that I should talk with, what should I taking about, how and how and how.
Anyway, in the end I tried to be myself as much as I can. I just went out and started with an easy greeting word. And it was really working!!!! I thought those people need to talk with me too, but maybe they were shame to come to me and ask first. Only for the short time I knew a lot of people quite well and also had some family invited me to their home, even though we just knew each other. Through this situation can teach me some thing. Some time is not as bad as we thought. Don’t be afraid to do a beginning with some thing.
When I came back to the camp, my host family started to show me how I can go to the church. Because on Sunday we just came back from the camp and then on Monday I must went to the practice place. I used the bicycle to go to the practice place and from my home to the church or the practice place; it took about 10 Min. by bicycle or about 30 Min. by walking. I was really looking forward to go the work and was very excited too.

Vågsbygds church

First day at the practice place was well, my leader have explain me and my teammate a lot of things for example; what we have to work and what were about our responsibilities at work place. However our main work was; we have to work with the children from 8 years to 15 year old.
Then the biggest challenge for me was; how can I help the kids to get to know more about Jesus! No matter they do not understand very well English or no matter I can’t speak very good Norwegian, but how can I help them to know more about our Savior. . I really hope that one day before I will go back to Hald I am going to stand in front of them and speak directly in Norwegians about Gospels and help them to get save by the cross of Jesus.
The question for my biggest challenge was; what I should begin?
Well, the first thing that I started; was smiling and do the good things for them. Hope that they and see the love of the God’s people though our work or though our task.

The partner organizations all together are 7 persons. We have very well connections and co operations. Every one has their responsibilities. So we just do our responsibilities and when we finish our own works and then we try to help each other as much as we can. Until now I have no problem with the partner organization at all. We are doing very well, especially sharing ideas for activities, decoration, paintings even made foods. I could help them very much more than I thought. I feel, I am really worker at this place not as a student who is practicing at this place at all. It might be; I am adult women and have some experiencing for working before, so I knew how to work, how to manage with the partner organization. Even though we are different culture but we can learn from each other.
And the best thing I feel; the partner organizations and I have the heart to be a servant of God. So it is very important for me than other thing.

Servants think of ministry as an opportunity, not an obligation. We enjoy helping people, meeting needs, and doing ministry. We serve the Lord with gladness. Rick Warren.

To work with the kids is it not easy. We have to plan all most every day what we are going to do with them. Because we are not a normal school but we are the Kingdom of God’s School. We would like to be the flesh of his Kingdom and we need also to teach them about Jesus as the savior and about every thing in the Bible as much as we can. We did not only teach them directly about the Bible but we try to find the way to tell them about Bible via activities, reading, playing, games, movies, drama etc. Some ideas were work but some doesn’t work for them. However we believe in the scripture said

“Once there was a man who went out to sow grain. As he scattered the seed in the field, some of it fell along the path, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it up. Some of it fell on rocky ground, and when the plants sprouted, they dried up because the soil had no moisture. Some of the seed fell among thorn bushes, which grew up with the plant and choked them. And some seeds fell in good soil; the plants grew and bore grain, one hundred grains each.”

Team Nettverk 2008 - 2009

That is a wonderful team from many countries ex. Norway, Thailand, Laos, Cameron, Madacasca, France and Brazil. I beleive that all of us have a big heart to serve the Lord. Thanks God that you don't think, we are still young . Jesus calls us not only to come to him, but to go for him. It is because we were made for a mission. We believe God is at work in the world and he want us to join him, wherever, whenever and whatever. Even though we are a little part this world but we believe we could change any thing at that place where we are going. We serve God by serving others. Whoever wants to be great must become a servant Mark 10:43

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

The time

to living with purpose !

Living on purpose is the only way to really live. Everything else is just existing for me. Somebody said, You can start living on purpose today and every day is the time to do your best. So I think, it is my turn to start doing on God's vision.

What is my purpose of live ?

I am not not an accident!

Nobody no about me well accept the LORD, because he wanted to create me. Anyway he said " I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born. "

You are who you are for a reason.

You are part of an intricte plan.

You are a precious and perfect unique design,

Called God's special woman or man.

You look like you look for a reason.

Our God made no mistake.

He knit you together within the womb,

You are just what he wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones he chose,

And no matter how you may feel,

They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,

And they bear the Master's seal.

No,that trauma you faced was not easy.

And God wept that it hurt you so;

But it was allowed to shape your heart

So that into his likeness you'd grow.

You are who you are for a reason,

You have been formed by the Master's rod.

Because there is a God !
